Common questions
How do I connect my first cluster?
Run the Helm install command from your dashboard. It deploys a namespaced service account with read-only permissions. Point your AlertManager webhook or configure your observability platform API key. First alert arrives within minutes.
What counts as an "alert"?
Each unique alert event that NudgeBee receives counts as one alert. Duplicate firings of the same alert within a 5-minute window are deduplicated and counted once. Alert volume is measured at ingestion, before deduplication.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately; your first billing cycle reflects the prorated difference. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. No lock-in on monthly plans.
Is NudgeBee read-only by default?
Yes. The service account NudgeBee installs uses only get, list, and watch verbs on the Kubernetes API. NudgeBee never writes to your cluster without a human approval action. You can verify the ClusterRole permissions before deploying.
How does the approval timeout work?
Each approval request expires after a configurable window (default 30 minutes). On expiry, NudgeBee marks it as timed out, logs the missed window, and re-queues the alert if it is still firing. The on-call engineer receives a follow-up notification.
Do you support on-premises clusters?
Yes. NudgeBee communicates outbound only (your cluster calls our API). No inbound firewall rules or VPN required. Works with any Kubernetes distribution including on-premises, air-gapped clusters that can reach our endpoint.
Start free. Scale when you need to.
The Solo plan is free with no time limit. Connect one cluster and see NudgeBee handle a real alert end-to-end before you spend anything.
